Write it down

Tears fell quietly, hidden from the world

In the pages I could touch, in words I could hold

Some I shared,

letting glimpses slip softly into others’,

not for validation, not for applause,

but to speak what I think needed

Some I kept, carefully into my private corners

each one a reminder

that my heart could feel,

and still choose its own path

Every tear, every line I wrote

was a step, small but steady

toward knowing myself,

that starts quietly — inside me
