towards me

i don’t know where this is going maybe nowhere maybe somewhere i haven’t learned how to name yet but if, somehow, all of this is making its way towards me — if the feeling, the timing, the little things i keep wondering about are not entirely mine to carry alone, then i hope you don’t turn away i’m not asking for certainty i’m not asking you to promise me anything i just have this little hope, quiet enough to keep to myself, that maybe, when you finally know where you want to go, it’s towards me if yes, then please do.

answering an old thought (Another Wold by Thoughts, October 2023)

You said, “Just let me create another world.” I don’t think you realized it then, but another world isn’t made all at once. It’s made one note, one question, one curious observation at a time. One day, you’ll look back at these words and realize… You weren’t asking for permission. You were describing the beginning .

remain myself

Lately, I've been noticing that I naturally spend a lot of time reflecting on my experiences. Sometimes I find myself revisiting old conversations, reconnecting ideas that once seemed unrelated, or seeing familiar things from an entirely different perspective. It's a process I've come to genuinely enjoy, not because it always leads to answers, but because it allows my understanding to gradually become clearer over time. At the same time, I think being reflective also comes with something I need to remember. When I become deeply interested in understanding something, it can be tempting to search for meaning in every detail, as though every experience must immediately become part of a bigger picture. But perhaps it doesn't have to be that way. Not every moment asks to be interpreted, and not every thought needs to become a conclusion. I still want to remain curious. I still want to notice patterns and relationships whenever they naturally appear. But I also want to trust ...

overwhelmed

today, i realized that being overwhelmed isn’t always about one big thing. sometimes it’s just many quiet thoughts arriving at the same time. a thought about my future. a thought about someone i still like. a thought about my family. a thought about whether i’m “enough.” and somehow, they all started talking at once. i caught myself asking, “what have i even achieved?” as if achievements are the only proof that i’m worthy of meeting someone good. but maybe… life isn’t asking me to prove my worth. maybe it’s simply asking me to keep growing. i don’t think i’m looking for someone who always thinks the same way i do. i’m only hoping for someone who is willing to think with me. someone who doesn’t have to win every conversation. someone who believes that understanding each other matters more than being right. someone whose thoughts can meet mine somewhere in the middle. and maybe… before meeting that person, i’m learning to meet myself there first. to stop measuring m...

a presence

like a name you notice in a book, or a song you didn’t play, yet somehow you hear it I’m not inviting you to jump in I’m just making you aware someone’s standing at the edge of the surface “I’m here” isn’t a call, it’s presence.

warm enough

i used to burn for others now i keep a flame for me soft, steady, awake brave enough to feel, still warm enough to love if you come, i’ll meet you gentle if not, my fire remains — quiet, steady, mine

resilient

without knowing, you appear, becoming a mirror that challenges me, teaching without words, giving space to learn, to stumble, rise, and laugh on my own you are not a teacher, yet every step, every silence, shapes the way I stand, teaching me to honor myself and keep my heart light thank you, for showing me, in ways unexpected, how strong I can truly be and how resilient it makes me feel

right here

You once hesitated, afraid to trust, a heart wary of people, of promises unkept I remember telling you softly, “Don’t trust blindly, but a little caution won’t hurt” And still, I tried — to reach you, to support you, to know you in the small corners you let the world see Over time, I’ve watched your steps forward, the center of your world returning to you, self-focus blooming like sunlight catching your smile Happiness suits you, and I love to see it So here I am, quietly grateful, appreciating you, appreciating your journey, and thankful for you — for your smile, your growth, for letting me witness even a small piece of your world.

gentle breeze

I wait, yet I do not wait Quietly I follow the journey of your heart, unsure if I merely watch, or gently help your steps move forward My support drifts with the wind, carries in the air, whispered in every prayer, softly brushing past your days, lingering in moments you may never notice Without words, without demand, only warmth, only care, only this quiet devotion that floats between your healing and my own delight I savor it silently, the gentle joy of loving from afar, the soft thrill of being part of your story, yet remaining just a gentle breeze by your side

I Dare to Live

I stopped blaming myself not because I was always right, but because punishment never taught me why I hurt So now I listen To the pause To the flinch To the part of me that once only wanted to survive, and now  —  dares to live

Write it down

Tears fell quietly, hidden from the world In the pages I could touch, in words I could hold Some I shared, letting glimpses slip softly into others’, not for validation, not for applause, but to speak what I think needed Some I kept, carefully into my private corners each one a reminder that my heart could feel, and still choose its own path Every tear, every line I wrote  was a step, small but steady toward knowing myself, that starts quietly — inside me

Air Between Us

I don't love loudly, I don't ask to be held tighter I stay where I can still breathe If I step back, it's not because you lacked something —  it's because I refuse  to lose myself quietly I carry affection the way birds carry the sky —  without owning it, without falling So if I ever leave,  know this —  I didn't choose distance over you I chose honesty  over disappearing
